Olfaplay — Guerlain launches the first podcast for perfume lovers
Guerlain has unveiled Olfaplay, a free smartphone app on which anyone can record – and broadcast – transmit their personal feelings about fragrances.
Yann S., a soldier with a hoarse voice, talks of the comforting odour of his motorcycle cagoule which helps him get going every morning. Réjane L., an advertising executive who has lived at the Hotel Costes in Paris for twenty years, explains how a place is imbued with memories by its perfume (in this case, a Rami Mekdachi candle). Then there’s Margaux F. and the jasmine in her parents’ garden, which will always mean childhood and holidays. And Agnes S. and her grandfather’s cheap eau de cologne in Macedonia… Anonymous people have taken a few minutes (up to nine) to talk about a small part of their lives on Olfaplay, the app launched last week by Guerlain, devoted to fragrance in general, not only that in a bottle, and certainly not only that manufactured by Guerlain.Read on madame.lefigaro.fr
